THE AUDIT HAS BEEN A TITANIC EFFORT FOR BOTH SGS AND EMBUTIDOS ORTIZ GIVEN THE CURRENT CONDITIONS.

Embutidos Ortiz has renewed its BRC (British Retail Consortium) and IFS (International Food Standard) quality certificates for the thirteenth consecutive year, after an audit in which the teams of SGS (certifying company) and Embutidos Ortiz have had to make an enormous effort due to the current conditions caused by the Coronavirus. We would like to take this opportunity to thank them.

To have renewed both certificates with the highest ratings and in compliance with the most demanding requirements is recognition of the effort, maturity and efficiency of our Quality Management Systems and Production Processes. But in these difficult conditions, we also see our values and our image in the national and international distribution chain strengthened.

Much has changed in our daily lives since this unexpected crisis emerged. The most important thing now is health in general and the health of all those affected in particular, as well as the utmost gratitude to all those people – our heroes at the moment – who are doing all they can to stop this pandemic.

At Embutidos Ortiz, we continue to work to provide our products to all our customers. We do this, of course, in strict compliance with all the health and safety measures established by our leaders and the international agencies that oversee health and food safety. In this way, we seek to protect both our public and our team, who continue to give their all by our side despite the difficulties.

We do not know what the future holds. The difficulties will be many, but we cannot let uncertainty hold us back. A final appeal to everyone’s responsibility. If it is not strictly necessary #stayathome and if you have to go out #keepyourdistance. That way we know that #everythingwillgowell. #thisviruswestopittogether
