The Madrid trade fair IFEMA is holding a new edition of Meat Attraction, the event for the best meat in the world, from the 17th to the 19th of September. Meat Attractionis organised by IFEMA and ANICE and has become a benchmark and necessary trade fair for all operators in the meat sector. Commercialisation, innovation, quality and knowledge are the premises of this new edition of the event, which will bring together more than 400 exhibitors and 20,000 professionals from 50 countries in a major specialised trade event.

Meat Attraction has also left a place for reflection on innovation, with various spaces including Foro Innova, which brings together conferences dedicated to innovation in all areas of the meat sector. Among them, within the framework of the MEATIC Forum, the conference Meat Product Innovation for New Consumption Styles will be held, organised by TechFood Magazine and moderated by its director Beatriz Romanos Hernando. The conference will review some of the most relevant trends in food consumption and their impact on the meat industry: new lifestyles, the search for high-protein products, the growth of categories such as snacks, new eating styles of consumers who are increasingly concerned about what they eat and the boom in vegetable-based alternatives to meat.

To analyse these and other issues, several experts from the sector will be taking part in the round table: Jose Miguel Flavián, Founder of GM&Co; Álvaro Jiménez Barbero, Founder and CEO of Encarna Group (La Finca); Carlos Camarero, founder of Cherky Foods; Marc Coloma, founder and CEO of Foods for Tomorrow; Miguel Ángel Comín, Coordinator of Porcinnova; and Max Martín, Export Manager of the International Development division of Embutidos Ortiz.
