Embutidos Ortiz participates in SIAL Canada with new products selected at Sial Innovation Awards

Embutidos Ortiz will be participating in SIAL Canada's International Trade Fair from April 30 to May 2 in Toronto, bringing together approximately 20,000 trade visitors from more than 50 countries and Italy as a guest country.

As in the previous edition of SIAL Paris, the two latest commercial novelties of Embutidos Ortiz, Chorizo with Quinoa and Chorizo with Algas Kombu, were selected for the SIAL Innovation Awards, whose ceremony will take place on the first day of the fair.

Embutidos Ortiz's proposals are thus consolidated internationally as a sample of food innovation without losing the traditional roots of the Rioja brand, whose activity dates back to 1915.

On the other hand, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) recently included Embutidos Ortiz in the list of companies authorized to export their meat products to the North American country.

Embutidos Ortiz is continuing its international expansion in a country where, according to the latest report prepared by ICEX, Spanish chorizos and meat products are in a very favorable position given the growing market demand in recent years.

Rightly, Ortiz was one of the first SMEs in La Rioja to obtain authorization to export Riojana sausage. At present, its products are already in countries such as Japan, Argentina, Chile, Brazil and New Zealand.
